The Battle Scene was filmed in a small pool. The boat was re purposed for the 1959 remake of the Ben Hur Movie starring Charleston Heston. The ship is made of copper and aluminum. Its very highly detailed. The front of the vessel has a figural Wolf Head. Both ends of the boat have nice details. A shield wall runs along both sides of the hull. The boat has been outfitted with sails, oars, anchors, and people. The boat shows wonderful patina. This is a true piece of Movie History. Ben Hur is a timeless classic movie.
