Egypt, Third Intermediate Period, XXIst-XXIIIrd Dynasty, ca. 1069-712 BC. Blue-green faience amulet representing the fish goddess of Mendes, wearing a schilbe, the sacred fish, atop her head. Missing legs. Custom stand.
