Jalisco, Mexico, ca. 100 BC - 250 AD. Large female figure found in a shaft-tomb complex. Buff and red-colored with black tattoo marks on her breasts and lower chin.
Purchased at Rex Arrowsmith's in Santa Fe, NM in 1972. Lot including original certificate of authentication.
