Hand Colored Etching of Randall, the Irish lad, and Belasco, the Jew Champion. Inscribed in English: The fight took place at Shepperton Point near Oatlands on Tuesday September 30, 1817 in a 24 feet ring for 50 guineas a side and after a contest of 54 minutes was decided in favor of Randall. Early documentation of Jewish Sport. Drawn from the life and etched by Williams. Published by S.W. Fores, Picadilly, London, England. Circa the 19th century. Approximately 42X33 cm. Good condition, stains, creases, wear.
