Description
The first is an Early Times Kentucky bourbon whiskey bar or liquor store display made by Mattei Display of Louisville, Kentucky which is marked on the bottom. This chalkware plaster embossed vase is circa 1950s and reads "True old-style Kentucky Bourbon". There are great colors to this figural piece. Has some surface wear, scuffs, scratches, and nicks throughout, but still shows very well. The second advertisement is an Old Shay Beer & Ale countertop display showing a couple riding in horse-drawn carriage marked Fort Pitt Brewing Company in Pennsylvania. The base is chalk ware and the carriage and figures are early rubber figure. The carriage wheels are painted tin. Condition: (Good - Very Good). Dimensions: Larger: 11 - 1/2" x 13 - 3/4" x 6".
