BISQUE FIGURAL NATIVE AMERICAN CHIEF / INDIAN MINIATURE LAMP, white ground with polychrome realistic decoration, chest and shoulders with two braids serves as font, lavender clothing, lift-off head serves as the shade with brown glass eyes, period collar. Fitted with a Thiel & Bardenheuer burner, colorless chimney. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 6 1/2" H to top of shade, 2 3/4" H to top of collar, 3 3/8" x 4" overall base.
Undamaged, shade with an interior-only as-made vertical firing line that follows the crease where the face and feathers meet. Setup undamaged.
