English George III sterling silver goblet/ chalice, attributed to Henry Chawner and John Eames, c.1812, engraved heraldic crest, with a dexter hand erect and pale having the outer fingers bowed inwards, shield with divided field, three griffin heads, banner with motto reading: "Confido," likely for a member of Clan Boyd, base of cup and foot with leaf tip borders, London hallmarks, partially effaced maker's mark, approx 5"h, 3.75"diam, 11.63ozt **Provenance: The estate of a Houston Socialite who enjoyed a long career in modeling, both nationally and internationally.
