the lion rests back on his hind legs with a single paw lifted rested on a shield, the lion sits atop a rectangular base, marked with factory mark in blue underglaze, and numbered 17 and 14; overall height: 25 cm (9 7/8 in.)

CONDITION
The lion appears in age-appropriate condition. Overall craquelure visible to the body of the lion. Minor chips, most visibly to his ears, nose, tail, mouth, jaw and paws resulting in loss of paint. Chips to the corners of the base as well resulting in loss of paint. Inspection under UV shows no apparent signs of restoration or repairs.
