of ovoid form with a gilt foliate scrolled handle, the body of the ewer with a floral motif of wild flowers, the neck of a light blue, the spout formed as a gilt animal head the base with gilt ivy leaves on a rounded light blue and gilt foot rim, blue factory mark underglaze on interior of base; overall height: 50 cm (19 3/4 in.)

CONDITION
The ewer appears in very good original condition. Minor rubbing to the gilt detailing, most notably to the foot rim. Inspection under UV shows re-gilding to the acanthus around the base.
