18th century Chippendale mahogany and brass inlaid desk and bookcase. English, circa 1780. In three sections, the bookcase with paneled doors, the desk with neatly fitted interior and the case with four graduated drawers on bracket feet. Finely made of all mahogany. Sides with heavy lifts. Good condition with typical breaks and losses, corner elements missing from cabinet panels, cracks to cornice molding. Height 88in width 42.5in, depth 23in
