Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng Iron Red Floral Petal bowl. Potted with a shallow body, has an open mouth, straight upper mouth rim, deep arced body, raised on small ring footed base with slight concave. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the red fine color, depicted full moon above shine clean white. Red represents fire and is the most popular color in China. It is also the national color representing happiness, beauty, vitality, good luck, success and good fortune. The glaze is lustrous and glittering, giving a sense of fresh and bright.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings, Made In The Years of YongZheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
