Description
Ebonized wood mantel clock with a curved pediment supported by two classical columns. Decorated with gilt bronze mounts and mother of pearl inlaid dentil moulding. White enamel dial with roman numerals and additional seconds dial in the centre. Windows at the front and sides allow for view of the pendulum and movement. Backplate mounted onto movement, no visible signatures. Clock surmounted by an onyx finial and raised on four similarly coloured button feet. Pendulum of gilt bronze with a classically-styled face and sunrays. c.1825.

Condition
Repair to the dial around the left and lower winding key holes. Applied window frame on the right side needs to be re-applied. Small crack to the wood on the right side above the window. Some visible cracking to the ebonized veneer across the top. Has not yet been tested to see if in working order. Condition report available upon request
