TRAINED VELVET BELLE EPOCH GOWN with JEWELED BODICE 1913. Lush royal purple panne silk having short sleeve silk lace V-neck bodice asymmetrically draped in gold metallic mesh, high jeweled midriff band with center clear and magenta paste butterfly, hobble skirt layered over short train. Label "Joseph 632 Fifth Avenue New York CYCLAMEN". B-34, high W-28, front L-62, back L-71. (Left side magenta set pastes of the period but replaced, drape possibly altered) otherwise excellent.
