Item Details

Description

French black slate three piece clock garniture with tazze, the clock with black and green stone case, enamel dial with exposed escapement and blued steel moon hands, 8 day, time and strike spring driven brass movement with Ellicott style pendulum

Condition

case in good condition overall with spotting of top finish throughout due to age, lower left portion of base has some small chips along the edges, chip and previous repair to green marble just above the dial around the 1 o'clock position, enamel dial is clean with no hairlines or cracks, top crystal has some surface scratches, both tazze have a couple chips along the edge of the top platform and one of them has a chip on bottom right corner. Although the marble accents on the tazze are a contrasting pink, they are believed to be original to the clock. Original hands and pendulum, movement is ticking and striking.
