Description
Attributed to Karl Griesbaum, a mid 20th century clock peddler whistler, the standing figure carrying a running clock under his right arm, and with a parcel of clocks on his back, and wearing a bowler hat, the mechanism concealed in his body, whistling a tune and moving his head from side to side when activated
Condition
very good overall with minor losses to the color on the front of the base, clock under his arm ticking but lacking pendulum and ornamental weights, whistler movement working well, wire controlling head movement soldered to follower
