Early WED Imagineering Aluminum Hardhat (Walt Disney, c. 1950s-60s). In construction photographs around early Disneyland, from Main Street to the Matterhorn, Walt Disney and his team of early Imagineers are often featured in aluminum hardhats bearing the WED Enterprises emblem. Featured here is one of those unbelievably rare hard hats, featuring the original WED logo! It's a wonderful vintage brushed aluminum hat, with a tag on the inside showing that it is adjustable for head sizes 6 3/4 through 7 5/8. The hat is used and shows surface scuffing and debris with a hand-written 15 on the underside of the brim. Very Good condition with normal wear and tear.
