Description
Tinker Bell 25-Year Disney Bronze Service Award Prototype (Walt Disney, c. 1950s-60s). The most coveted of all the Disney Cast Member Service Awards is the 25 Year Bronze Tinker Bell. It was designed and cast by the late Bill Toma for Walt Disney Studios. The bronze statue is 12" tall on a beautiful wood base. This is the early prototype where the patina was tested to see if they might turn the entire bronze green. Ultimately it was decided not to patina the award. Cast from the original WED Imagineering mold on a wood base of 7.75" x 7.75", the statue can be seen at the Disneyland theme park. A rare find indeed! The bronze is in Very Good condition.
