A Continental Neoclassical Style Marble Top Commode

19th century, fruit wood with oak and pine secondary, shaped molded conforming top, upper fluted frieze with central relief carved rosette, two long case drawers with projecting front panel featuring a raised panel disc, relief carved scrolled skirt, stop fluted canted corners extending down to create a block foot, double paneled sides.

Marble intact, but does appear to be some tight hairline cracks; old and possibly original; case with some later elements including underside top and rear back boards; later drawer guides; rear feet tipped.
