West, William H. (American/Trafford, Pennsylvania, 1881-1975), Grist Mill, 1888, Cavitvill, PA, signed and dated March 20, 1975 lower right, gouache and acrylic on canvas board, 18 x 24 inches, in a simple wooden frame. A nice example of self-taught, American folk art.

In good condition apart from some warping of the canvas board and minor discoloration to the bottom edge from water staining.
