Germany, early depiction of Santa Claus, composition head with dark glass eyes, wood arms, holding an angry baby, black wood boots, wire body with spring mechanism on chest, when pushed, his arm moves

Approximately 8" tall. The glass-eyed polar bear has a removable head to access the candy and Santa, dressed in period clothing, is seated upon back. (Good - Very Good). 8 -1/2" x 7 -1/2".

18" over-all length. Marked Germany with composition dressed Santa on carved wood sled with 3 glass-eyed plush dogs with leather harness. It is fairly clean, showing light playwear, C8. Nice example!
