William Russell Flint (1880-1969) Scottish Artish, Illustrator. Flint was known especially for his watercolours of women. He also worked in oils, tempera, and printmaking. Two signed items: 5” x 8” autograph letter, personal stationery, August 3, 1948, to “My dear Mr Gersley.” “…I am so glad you like my watercolors – that ‘Wet Sands’ in Chicago must be a quarter century old! The card is signed across the stamp as you request…”. The signed Canadian stamp is included.
