Bruce Lee (1940-1973), signed 5x2¾ cut, inscribed, “The Best to You” above the signature and “Kato” below the signature. Signed Boldly in black ink. Kato, Green Hornet's sidekick, was the role that would catapult Lee's career in America. Bruce Lee had appeared in a number of minor films but abandoned hopes of a film career and in 1964 he was pursuing a career in martial arts when someone associated with the Batman television show spotted him at the 1964 Long Beach Karate Tournament. He auditioned, and the producers were impressed enough with his moves to offer him this role. The Green Hornet ran for a total of 26 episodes on ABC during 1966 and 1967.  Matted and Framed with a color photograph of Bruce Lee as Kato with an overall size of 16 x 22.5.
