Vintage 14kt Jade Bracelet, 7.5", nine cabochons that are appx. 8mm by 6mm. The bracelet weighs 25.83 grams (does not include safety chain). It is signed JC or CJ - the letters overlap. Age is approximately 1970's to 1990's but I believe given the pieces in this auction is is closer to mid-century to 1970's. Each gold link between the prong-set jade stones is a 14.8mm triple rope accented gold rope X pattern link. The clasp is a heavy tongue style that fits into a box-like housing and it has a textured thumb tab for easy opening. The only flaw in this piece is that the safety chain appears to have been replaced by a heavier 10kt GF chain. This could be replaced by your jeweler if desired. This came from a PA estate and the price was much higher than what I have it offered at. The scrap weight for this is considerable but I am hoping no one is planning on stripping it down. (Lot. Loc.
