American Neo-Grec Bronze-Mounted and Inlaid Rosewood Cabinet
ca. 1869, attributed to Pottier & Stymus, New York, the frieze with a banded inlay, the pattern common to both Pottier & Stymus and Herter Brothers, over a pair of doors, each with finely inlaid panels depicting musical trophies, and framed by banded inlay, the stile separating the doors capped by a cast-bronze head in the Renaissance Revival taste, the concave ends with inlaid panels flanked by fluted columns.
