mid-19th century, Philadelphia, the six-light Rococo Revival gasolier with a baluster-turned standard decorated with dragons, masques and seated classical maidens, busts of Spanish conquistadors peering down from the body, the delicately scrolled and pierced arms set with gas keys associated with Cornelius.
