Newcomb College Art Pottery
unique, matte-glaze, tall vase, 1910, decorated by Julia Michel Hoerner in blue and green underglaze with hanging Beale's barberry and two hidden fairies with billowing tresses, base marked with Newcomb cipher, decorator's mark lightly incised and in blue glaze, Joseph Meyer potter's mark, reg. no. "DR80" and "K" for white clay body.

Condition
In overall very good condition with no visible cracks, repairs or losses. Very fine crazing to glaze is present throughout. Inside of vase has some soiling from use.
