Literature: Jean-Pierre Chambon confirmed the authenticity of this painting for Callan Fine Art.

In overall very good condition. The painting has been relined with taped edges. There is a small loss to the lower right corner. Under UV light, no tears or repairs were detected. Painting has an earlier small inpainted spot at the left edge that was later revarnished. Over that varnish are two very small inpainted "touch-ups" to the tree trunk on the far left. Frame has losses to corners, and scattered nicks and losses to gesso and gilding.
