Set of Eight Victorian Neo-Gothic Oak Dining Chairs, stamped Saunders and Woolley
Each fitted with Neo-Gothic designed upholstery.
37 1/4 x 18 1/2 x 20 1/2 in.Â
Mallet invoice note: Saunders and Woolley were best known as house decorators and upholsters. They worked from London's Regent Street (170) and received a royal commission from Queen Victoria, as house decorators. In 1840 the company received a commission to decorate Arundel Castle in Sussex for Lord Fitzalan.
