Description
Group of four pieces including two jade boys, one jade axe, and one flower plaque. Jade axe carved in openwork in the form of an axe-head bell detailed with a band of archaistic scrolls and whorl motifs, 2.4*1.15 inch. Two jade boys, one skillfully rendered in the round as a boy standing, portrayed with both hands grasping a long stalk lingzhi head behind his head, the others of seating boy, detailed with a cheerful face, crouching over to reach a recumbent goose grasp a leafy in its beak, 1.23*0.99 inch smallest; 2.23*0.99 inch largest. One blossom jade floral, detailed with petals, the central highlight with greenish bead, 1.68*1.14 inch.
