Chinese Carved Celadon Moon Flask. Of flattened globular form, rising from a short splayed oval foot to a cylindrical neck flanked by a pair of loop handles, carved on each side with a central 'shou' character surrounded by lotus scrolls, the foot pierced with two apertures, the countersunk base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue. {Height: 7 3/4 inches (19.8 cm)}.
