A Chinese Lobed Orange Ground Tripod Vase with Cover, Qianglong Mark. Potted sturdily on three supports leading up into each deep lobe of the body, finely enameled and gilt-decorated on an orange ground with chimeras amidst foliate scrolls bearing colorful blooms, applied to the shoulders with three upright loop handles, the lobed domical cover surmounted by a gilt recumbent dog, the interior covered with a pale blue glaze, the base inscribed in gilt with a six-character mark. With a pierced hardwood base. {Height: 10 inches (25.4 cm)}. Condition: A repair to one handle, chips to the rim and underside of the cover.
