AN EARLY GEORGE III SILVER SAUCE BOAT, probably by William Skeen, London 1763, the double-scroll handle with leaf-form thumbpiece, raised on three shell-capped legs terminating in hoof feet. 15.5cm from handle to tip of spout, 7.4 troy ounces

Marks to underside are rubbed. Tiny split visible to inside of rim only. The rim misshapen. Surface wear. In generally reasonable condition commensurate with age and use.
