Description
Elvis Presley Presley Center Courts Membership Brochure W/Elvis & Dr. Nichopoulos Business Cards - This is a unique collection of rare items from Elvis Presley's unusual business venture, a series of racquetball clubs called Presley Center Courts. Elvis began playing racquetball after learning the game from his trusted physician Dr. Nick, and would often bond over the game with his family and trusted entourage the Memphis Mafia. The lot includes a membership flyer that describes the center's 10 courts, locker rooms, weight and exercise room, sauna, and other features, Elvis' business card as Chairman of the Board, Dr. Nichopoulos' business card as Chairman of the Board, and a blank business card. This is a rare find and a must have for Elvis collector's as items from this short-lived business venture are difficult to find, and Presley Center Courts was the star's sole business investment venture. After opening in April 1976, the courts were closed later that same summer after mounting large debts and encountering issues. A single Elvis Presley Chairman of the Board business card sold at a 2016 Graceland auction for $2250.
