China, early 20th century, porcelain. One square tile measuring 3.15" height, 2.95" width and framed in metal with rings for hanging on top. Front features a painted and glazed scene of three figures among trees with mountains in the background; wax import stamp to the backside marking this piece as being certified for export by Beijing Cultural Relics Bureau. Three individual pieces of decorated porcelain tile, varying sizes, but appear to be of same set with similar imagery. Double-sided and unglazed, with painted decorations of flowers and birds to one side, and a mountainous scene to the other. Also included is a small copper plaque measuring 1.2" length, engraved with an image of a Qing dynasty headcap and Chinese characters.
