A wonderfully exaggerated example of the traditional "Ginger Bread " style clay votives with sturdy build and girth. The Idol has some light decorative striations barely visible, on the right arm. The terracotta clay figure measures 7.75 x 5.5 inches. Colima, Mexico ca 300BC to 300 AD. Provenance: The Dr Brian Healy estate, New York.

tiny loss to one ear ornament, surface wear and encrustations, dendrites visible.
