Salvador Dali (1904-1989) was a Spanish Surrealist artist of Catalan ethnicity, born in Figueres, Catalonia, Spain. He was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his work. This travel poster, created in 1969 is indicative of his unique style.
The poster is linen backed, measures 25" x 39" and is in excellent condition. The poster is mounted onto an older European linen which is very thin and therefore, there are presently waves in the paper that will flatten out once matted and framed.
