PERUVIAN SHIPIBO AND OTHER POTTERY VESSELS, LOT OF TEN, comprising three Shipibo bowls from Peru having black and red decoration on white, a polychrome decorated covered jar made in Mexico, a large white bowl from Central America with black geometric decoration to interior, and five miniature vases and vessels. 20th century. Largest Shipibo bowl 4" H, 8 1/2" D rim.
Each with one or more small to sizeable flakes and/or chips and other imperfections; largest miniature vase with hairline to base.
Provenance: Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, VA to benefit collections care, preservation, and future acquisitions.
