VICTORIAN WOVEN HAIR MOURNING WREATHS, LOT OF TWO, each featuring various shades of hair intricately woven on a metal wire frame, mounted under glass in a shadow box frame. Fourth quarter 19th century. Larger 19 1/2" x 15 5/8" sight, 23 7/8" x 19 7/8" x 4 1/4" OA.
Wreaths in very good visual condition with some dust, spots of hair fraying, and toning of interior linings, frames with some wear, scratches, and other imperfections; larger example with glass broken along the horizontal center lacking upper half. Not examined out of frames.
