DESCRIPTION: Tiger maple high post late Federal bed circa 1800-1820. American, possibly New England. Head and footboard joined with side rails with rope bed knobs. Four posts with triple turned urns rising to an arched canopy. PROVENANCE: Purchased from Herb Schiffer Antiques. MEASUREMENTS: 54-1/2" long x 79-1/4" wide x 77" high. CONDITION: Very good.
