Waterbury "Sambo" Blinking Eye Clock, Connecticut, circa 1875, cast iron clock in the shape of a man playing a banjo, his eyes move up and down with the beat of the clock, original brass 30-hour movement with lever escapement is unsigned, original paint and dial, hands are replacements, running, 16 x 11 x 5 inches. The cases for these clocks were made by the Bradley and Hubbard Manufacturing Company.
