Description
Glorious original circa 1920s ladies fashionable summer lace blouse with handmade totally in Irish Crochet lace with raised floral accents and dense detailed meshwork.
This lace blouse has a background of chain stitches mesh ground embellished with large motif florets with double layers of petals and few with four layers of petals. Its design also contains lots of raised work. Beautiful skillfully handmade Irish Crochet whimsical pattern with heavy raised work of flowers, scrolls, leaves and other whimsical shapes. Color is Antique White. A stylish open front, and crochet covered button closure.
CONDITION
In very good clean sound condition, recently laundered and pressed with no rips, no stains, few tiny broken brides, and the material is strong and sturdy and wearable. Possibly having some imperfections and flaws. Blouse is unlined, I believe it never had a lining.
