Collected edition of More's Neoplatonic poetry, here reprinted with revisions together with several new works published here for the first time, each poem with its own separate title page. The work essentially consists of a reprint of More's "Platonick Song of the Soul", originally published in 1642, to which there is appended "An addition of some few smaller poems" here first published. This is a bibliographically complex work, which does not appear to have been fully described in bibliographic literature. Though two editions are said to have been published in 1647, the difference between them is not readily known. Henry More (1614-1687) was the leading light of the Cambridge Platonist school. Bookplate of Allen L. Thomas of the American Antiquarian Society on the front pastedown.
