Vietnamese Nguyen Dynasty Emperor Bao Dai's Imperial Study Hall Carved Black Ink Stone W/Qilin Motif (From a Vietnamese Royal Family) - This stunning piece is a carved black ink stone which has an ornate Qilin motif, a good omen, and is also thought to occasion prosperity, serenity and fertility. This piece comes from the estate of a Vietnamese Royal Family (the family now lives in the United States, and wishes to remain private). According to our seller, this piece was used in the Imperial Study Hall of King Bao Dai, who was the last reigning emperor of Vietnam. Measurements: 9"W x 2.24"H.
