EARLY WORKING BRANT, Parkertown, NJ. Appears to be original paint with some in-use touch up. Very good structural condition. Sliver (7/8 inch) missing to underside of bill. Hollow construction. Carved in a swimming position. Ice groove carving to back. Raised carved wing tip carving to back. Retains inlet weight. Part of the famous H.W. Cain rig, Atlantic City, NJ and so branded. The rig consisted of hundreds of decoys. For information and photographs see "New Jersey Decoys" by H. Fleckenstein, Jr., pages 97-105. A fine early example of New Jersey decoy heritage. 600-900
