James McNeill Whistler (American, British 1834���1903). Framed etching drypoint on cream paper. The work titled "Becquet (J. Becquet, Sculptor)," from "A Series of Sixteen Etchings of Scenes on the Thames and Other Subjects," produced 1861-1874, where it is also referred to as "The Fiddler." Presented in a linen matte and decorative frame. Good overall condition, normal wear. Measures approximately 9 3/4 in. x 7 1/4 in. (work), 18 1/2 in. x 15 1/2 in. (framed).
