A 19th century Chinese Elm storage cabinet. Elm construction with dovetail joinery, features a Molded top over two short and two long hinged doors with carved panels featuring figures and a landscape. Above a lift-out lower panel door with carved dragons flanked by two addition panel doors. Lower section includes four dovetail drawers and one additional lift-off panel, raised on a shaped skirt and simple square legs. Older refinishing with wear, some cracked panels, some shrinkage and other minor damage. 54 x 22 1/2 x 70 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $1,000-2,000
