Vintage 1930s Appliqued Star Quilt measuring 65in by 91in. Comprised of 54 blocks, 9in by 9in, set straight 6 by 9, with one border 5.5in wide. It is machine pieced and hand appliqued, and hand quilted. The star is unique in that is made up of 8 kite shapes, as opposed to diamond shapes, and then appliqued on the block, rather than pieced into the block.

In very good condition, this quilt has been recently soaked in Restoration to remove major storage discoloration. They are now almost completely gone, with only the fades remnant of these discolorations visible, if you look very hard for them. Also 2 faded yellow spots that I knew were there and had to look for them, they are very faded now as well.
