Edizione veneziana figurata. Quest’opera divenne il testo base per l'insegnamento della chimica nelle università europee, fino agli ultimi decenni del secolo XVIII. Gli Elementa raccolgono le lezioni del grande chimico e medico olandese) all'Università di Leida, ove tenne cattedra a partire dal 1718.
