John Austin (1891-1981)(attr.)
Corolla, NC, c. 1910
18 in. long

An oversize working canvasback with a high head. After serving his country in World War I, Austin returned to his home waters to become a waterfowling guide, commercial fisherman, and postmaster.
Restored.
