A high-head baldpate with a "HIDDEN" brand on the underside. The carving's right side displays the museum identification code "A51-93" in red paint. This decoy also bears the following inscription on its wooden base: "Widgeon - Male From Currituck Shooting Club / Poplar Beach, NC."
Original paint is mostly worn to wood with heavy gunning wear, a crack in neck.
